Avatar m tn Stretching the ham string muscles regularly will often relieve pain in the lower back. Stretching the low back muscles themselves helps. Light weight lifting and things like doing the super man mat move will strengthen the back overall and you need good ab muscles to help with good low back muscles. Lots of youtube videos for this. Ibuprofen always helps in the short term.

4847640 tn?1362723927 And sometimes (as in my situation) the answer to pain management might not be pain killers. If I skip my back routine for more then a few days the pain comes back. I'm hoping that with a longer period of exercise and when my body starts to respond to pain properly I will have very little pain. I wish for success to everyone out there struggling to get their "old selves" back.

Avatar f tn Plus I find its really easy to oull an ab with all the relaxin and round ligament pain. Let you abs relax drink something with some sugar and see if he gets moving around again.

I tried a new ab work out and two days later I could barely walk, and havn't been the same since. My symptoms inlcude pain in lower back, tingling/numbness, sometime stomach hurts? Avatar f tn I am an 18 year old female and have had on and off lower back pain for about 2 years. It is a spasm feeling. I am thin, but my stomach and core are not in very good shape. I do not exercise as much as I should.. I went to see an orthopedic doctor. He told me I have poor posture, and that I "hunch back". He took two x-rays and discovered I have scoliosis in my lower back. He told me, however, that it was mild and that he did not think it was the cause of my back pain.
Avatar f tn my name is Reese 29 years old, me too again I need a surgery again last 2011 my right fallopian tube removed because twisted I have Open surgery like CS I rest for 12 weeks,last Dec 2013 I am diagnosed with 2 large ovarian cysts I have so much pain I will wait for my appointment for surgery again I really hate this cysts I hope my cysts not a cancer I am depressed :(

When I try and get up it seems that something is getting stuck and it takes time for me to come to normal standing postion as a result.Even Im not able to bent my back backwards.Morning when I get up there is so much tension in that area. I really dont know what and where is the exact problem maybe close to L5-S1.Pls suggest is it severe ,any cure,exercise for this problem.
Avatar f tn It happens right after I eat a large meal, and I feel nauseous, then I vomit. Then I have this terrible burning pain in the lower left that radiates to my back and upward. I will then have the urge to have a bowel movement. While I go, the pains get worse, but when I am done, they go away for a few minutes then come back just as painful. When I go, its like diarrhea, only its got little pieces of stool in it as well as water. This goes on for about 8 hours.

Avatar f tn I had this same issue when I was earlier in my pregnancy. I would HIGHLY recommend a chiropractor. I've never been to one until my back pain during pregnancy. And I would go on days my lower back hurt and I would get adjusted and it was 100% better shortly after.

Avatar n tn well, I was doing lots of strength training and resistance training last year, every day for an hour. Whether it's because I'm older (39) turns out my hormones couldn't handle that and a pregnancy. I was told that it's pretty hard to produce progesterone to maintain a workout like Like that when the workout itself was upping my cortisol levels to high and subsequently I lost that pregnancy.

503444 tn?1210341950 I suffer from lower back pain occassionally and I was trying to find out if it was kidney related. However, I noticed that after drinking plenty of water it goes away. I do not feel pain sitting down but it is mostly when I try to get up that I can not not get my back straight quickly. I came to conclude that some allergy to some foods causes the tendons or ligaments to stiffen up causing disconfort. Tolerance to some foods may be limited and the symptons can come in different forms.

I have horrible lower back pain (because of my weight), standing 5 minutes hurts emensly. I do have an oliptical and a weight bench. It is not bad but I would lower the intensity or combine with other sorts of mild strength training exercises.
