Common Questions and Answers about 4 weeks after miscarriage no period

miscarriage

It has been 4 weeks today since I had a my second miscarriage, I was only 5 weeks along, blood tests were done at the hospital that day and my levels were only 6. So I bleed for 7 days and its has only been the last couple of days that I have noticed my breasts have increased in size. It didn't take long for them to revert back to normal size after the miscarrige.
I was 7 weeks 2 days pregnant at the time. I've read that sometimes it could be anywhere between 4-7 weeks after you miscarry to start your period.
I had an abnormal period 1 week after the miscarriage completed and then a regular period 1 month later. I have generally been regular with my periods. I have now not had a period for 2 1/2 months and am not pregnant. I would like to get pregnant. Do I need to be evaluated or is this just my body's hormones regulating themselves?
but if u miscarried naturally the normal expected time for the menstrual cycle to return after a miscarriage is between 4 to 12 weeks. This is because of the hormonal changes which takes time to return to normal. Maybe you still have some remnants of the miscarriage inside your uterus and for that reason you didn't get your period or maybe u r pregnant I prefer you do a pregnancy test and if the result is negative, u should see ur doctor.
after all my mc's I started my period 4 weeks after I stopped bleeding from the mc. Every body is different though. If you could be pg, just go buy a pg test. Maybe it will ease your mind. Oh, and after my 2nd mc, I got pg again right away, I never even had my period, I just got pg! So, of course anything is possible.
Oh my goodness. CONGRATS TO U A MILLION TIMES OVER. I was so shocked to find out I was pregnant after immediately after a miscarriage I just kept crying cause I was so happy. I could not imagine not have my little girl. I wish u all the happiness in the world and please send updates.
Hello..I had a miscarriage almost 8 weeks ago. It was my first pregnancy and I was 6 weeks along. I had a normal miscarriage with no cmplications and no D&C. But I have not had a period since my miscarriage. My doctor is giving me a perscription to make me start. Is this something that could cause me to not be able to get pregnant again? Thank you!!
Hi All, Im back to posting as I have question to ask. Today, is my 5 weeks after a natural miscarriage with no D&C at all. The process was fast and after 3 weeks my hcg level where back to normal. My question is, how long that it would take my period to come back after miscarriage? I have read on the net that it usually come back after 4 - 6 weeks but I don't know if would apply this to the women who had D&C or not, mine is just a natural miscarriage. Any thoughts would help. Thank you.
At this point I would contact your dr. Usually you should have a period 4-6 weeks after the bleeding stops from the MC. It really depends on the person. Sometimes if your period does not start, they will give you a shot to start it.
I'm not on birth control because we are going to try again but they told me to wait atleast two periods I don't want to rush anything but they told me 2 to 4 weeks before my period begins. I stopped bleeding about a week to a few days after my D an C. I have had sex but mostly protected sex but one time... The Dr told me i prob won't ovulate but he has seen it in the passed i just want everything to be right...
the baby died at 7 weeks.. now its been 4 weeks and still no period could i be pregnant again and when can i test???
I have heard that 4 weeks after your miscarriage you should start your period, and i've heard its four weeks after the last day of heavy bleeding, and ive heard that its 4 weeks after the last day of spotting, and ive heard that its 4 weeks after your levels drop to below 5, and iv heard that your levels drop to below 5 as soon as you are done bleeding, and i've heard that thats not necessarily true....
from the 3 pregnancies i lost, once the bleeding had stopped (which was around 2 weeks each time) my period returned about 4 to 6 weeks later. you may well be due a period any day, if you are stressing over it that could be delaying it.
It took me exactly 4 weeks after the bleeding had stopped (from the miscarriage) to get my period but my doctor said it can take 4-8 weeks to get a period. It also depends how far along you were when you lost the baby and your menstrual cycle. I hope you're doing well. Also, you're super fertile after miscarriage, so it is possible to get pregnant very shortly after.
I had a miscarriage 4 weeks ago, I was 14 weeks pregnant. I just began my first menstraul cycle and it is very heavy and my cramps are terrible. Is this normal???? I had a DNC 4 weeks ago.
Unfortunately it is different for everyone so there is no way of knowing. It could take a couple of months to get back into your normal cycle or it could happen straight away. For me though, I had my period 5 weeks after the bleeding stopped. An ovation test may help. In terms of testing now, I would take one a week until either get a positive or period starts. Good luck, I really hope you get a positive result.
Before getting pregnant my period were bang on 28 days, no sooner, no later.... Got a period 4 weeks after m/c.... So counting from then to next period, i would now be only 2 days late..... Just wondering has anyone else had similar problem, and have their periods gone back to normal after m/c....thankin u..
I had another dnc and was told my period would return between 4 to 6 weeks this hasnt happened but i have had two episodes of severe pain in my pelvis lasting for 4 to 5 days each time and exactly 4 weeks apart . I have had my hormone level checked and ny LH level was elevated that was 2 weeks ago which sugested that i ovulated. I ended up in A&E yesterday with severe pain . I had a scan and my ovaries look fine but my womb is tender.
thank you for your advice yeah it seems strange i have never had a period that just spotted before and i wasnt sure if your levels have to be zero again before you ovulate and it seems a little quick to get a period 2 weeks after my levels returned to zero.
