Avatar m tn Hello-I was a recreational drug user from the time is was 13yo to 23 yo. I did overdose when I was 23, which acted as a catalyst for me to stop doing drugs. I've done cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana, and alcohol. My issue is that I feel like I have memory and cognitive issues due to my past drug use. I have since graduated from college and hold a computer related job. I do well in my job, but can't get over the past drug use and blaming it for my perceived inadequacies.

There is a series of books that started with Origami Yoda that they liked and they had fun with that. So, airplanes would be cool. I found a book called "mini weapons of mass destruction" which sounds horrible but it is all about building catapults out of things like pencils, rubber bands and straws.

Avatar n tn I am 30 yr old professional now, but have a history of illicit drug use as an adolescent. Those drugs included moderate use of alcohol and marijuana. I have an incredibly bad short term memory issue to such an extent that I can't retain the info taken in for 30 sec to 1 min later. This is not with all subjects though.

Avatar n tn My 3 year 4 month old grandson throws a fit when it is time to change any activity that he is particularly enjoying. I took him to the library this morning and ended up picking him up and physically carrying him kicking and screaming out of the library. I always tell him that we have a few more minutes, giving him guidelines by indicating space of time with my hands. I then try to lure him by promising an alternative fun activity when we get home. Neither of these tactics works.

I've heard that masturbating too much can cause hormonal imbalance, which then causes all the aforementioned effects. Is masturbation the issue here? I think so, but I'm not sure. If I were to stop masturbating for a time, would I recover? Would the despair and sadness go away?

I have already had a cataract removed on my right eye and replaced with a toric lens. Various trails with glasses and contacts did not offer much help.

Avatar m tn Hello, I suffered a stroke 9 months ago.Great news that you regaining hand movement. What I found really useful was all types of weight bearing exercises.
